Obituary:

Frederic Douglas Rosenberg, age 67, of Edina passed away April 23, 2010. Preceded in death by parents Ross & Rose Rosenberg and sister Harriet Kehl. Survived by his loving wife Beverly and daughter Hadley, brothers Richard (Mickey O'Kane) and Marc (Nancy), numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends. Fred was a kind and gentle soul who loved the arts, nature and the universe, all things great and small. He was musically and artistically gifted, and valued the simple things in life over material possessions. His compassion for the less fortunate extended to his participation as a local board member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Funeral service MONDAY 2 PM, TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2324 Emerson Ave. S, Mpls. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Minnesota Medical Foundation, 200 SE Oak St., Minneapolis,MN 55455, or the Animal Humane Soc. of Hennepin County, 845 Meadow Lane N., Golden Valley, MN 55422. SHIVA, 7 PM Monday at Temple Israel.
